About Vicky

Known for her rich, beautiful voice, Vicky easily charms audiences with both her music and her quick wit. Her fluid combination of rock, folk, and pop draw in her listeners no matter the format – a large stage, a quiet restaurant, even in the dark woods at a block party (yes, this really happened!). Whether performing with an acoustic ensemble or as part of a full band, Vicky’s magnetic personality, humor and humble appreciation of her fellow talented musicians create a warm and festive environment.

Vicky was introduced to music at a very early age by her father, John Massoud, a professional singer and Oud player who traveled the country as a solo artist and as part of an Arabic band.  A classically trained vocalist and pianist, Vicky moved to NYC straight after graduating from Hamilton college. While building her professional sales career, she continued to pursue her musical passions and returned to the stage in early 2000.

Vicky’s delightfully deep vocal range lends itself to covering both male and female artists, creating great flexibility in her performances. Some of her favorite covers are Chris Cornell, Queen, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran, Led Zeppelin, Lady Gaga, Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile and Heart.  Vicky has sold out performances throughout NYC, including City Winery, City Vineyard, Don’t Dell Mama, Danny’s Skylight Room, Hard Rock Café, New York Comedy Club, 54 Below and many others. She recently moved to Greenwich, CT, and has quickly made a name for herself in the greater Fairfield County community.

Vicky is truly honored and blessed to be able to share her passion with her family, friends and strangers. Vicky is also so thankful to have a wonderful family including three awesome children who think their Mom is “famous” because, well, because she told them she is.
